These terms apply to your use of thechantnews.com ("The Chant Movies", "we", "us"). By using the website you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Our service
The Chant Movies is a free guide to upcoming movies. Movie details, posters and release dates come from The Movie Database (TMDB), and trailers are hosted on YouTube. Studios change release dates often, so information on this website may be incomplete or out of date. Please check with your cinema before you buy tickets.
2. Using the website
You may use the website for your personal, non-commercial use. You must not misuse it, for example by trying to break its security, overloading it with automated requests, copying it in bulk, or using it for anything unlawful.
3. Content and trademarks
Movie titles, posters, images and trailers belong to their respective owners and are shown for information only. Movie data is provided by TMDB. This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
4. Advertising and third-party links
The website shows ads from Google AdSense and links to other websites such as YouTube and cinema or studio pages. We are not responsible for the content, products or policies of other websites.
5. No warranty and limitation of liability
The website is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the website or from relying on information shown on it.
6. Monthly Movie Ticket Giveaway: Official Rules
Organizer. The giveaway is run by The Chant Movies (thechantnews.com). Contact: contact@thechantnews.com.
No purchase necessary. Entry is free. Buying anything does not improve your chances of winning.
Eligibility. Open worldwide to individuals aged 18 or older (or the age of majority where they live, if higher) at the time of entry, where the giveaway is permitted by local law. Void where prohibited or restricted. The giveaway is not open to residents of the Province of Quebec (Canada), Italy or Brazil, or to anyone in a country or region subject to comprehensive international sanctions (such as Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions), because local rules there require registration or prevent us from paying prizes. People involved in running the giveaway and their immediate families may not enter.
Entry period. Each calendar month is a separate draw. An entry counts for the month in which it is received, based on Coordinated Universal Time (UTC).
How to enter. Complete the entry form on the website with your first name and a valid email address, and accept these rules. Only one entry per person and per email address is allowed each month. Entries made with multiple or fake email addresses, scripts or other automated methods will be disqualified.
Prizes. Each month, 3 winners each receive one cinema ticket (one seat for one standard show) for a movie of the winner's choice, at a cinema and show of the winner's choice, in the winner's own country. Because winners live in different countries, the winner normally books the ticket and we reimburse the price of one ticket in the local currency, after the winner sends the booking confirmation or receipt. Reimbursement is made by PayPal, bank transfer or another method available in the winner's country, usually within 14 days. Where possible, we may instead book the ticket for the winner directly. The prize must be claimed within 60 days of notification. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash, except as the reimbursement described above.
Winner selection. Within 7 days after the end of each month, 3 winners are drawn at random from all eligible entries received for that month. The chance of winning depends on the number of eligible entries.
Notification. Winners are notified by email. A winner must reply within 14 days with their movie choice and may be asked to confirm their age and identity. If a winner does not reply in time, is not eligible or cannot be contacted, the prize may be awarded to another randomly selected entry.
Announcement. Winners agree that their first name, last initial and city may be shown on our giveaway page and social media. Winners can ask us not to publish their details by emailing us.
Personal data. Entry data is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
Changes and cancellation. We may suspend, change or cancel the giveaway if fraud, technical problems or other events beyond our control affect its fairness. Our decisions about the giveaway are final.
Taxes. Any taxes that apply to a prize in the winner's country are the winner's responsibility.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the website means you accept the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
